A new beginning for "SvaigasSenes".

We started growing mushrooms in 2018, building a mushroom farm and not thinking much about whether there would be a demand for mushrooms, because we simply wanted to grow mushrooms. Just like our heart's calling - it was a process that involved us starting from early mornings, ending with the feeling of satisfaction of delivering our grown mushrooms to those people who appreciate the work and effort we put in, so that oyster mushrooms are not only a part of dinner, but also a delicious reason. to mention that you can also grow various delicious and healthy mushrooms in Latvia. At the moment when it seemed that our wishes had been achieved and a family of regular customers, both people and restaurants, who were happy to receive products from us, had been formed, we decided that we could raise the cultivation to a higher level, we created a plan for a much larger nursery, where we could grow both mushrooms, and to create master classes and invite visitors to teach how we arrive at the finished product, but time introduces corrections and the completed building project with the plan remained on the shelf with the thought that we will stick to it someday.
In the meantime, we operated in the existing nursery and reached the limit of the amount of mushrooms that could be grown in the nursery, because it was simply not possible to grow more, but each peak of achievement came with its own obligations - we spent more and more time in the nursery, every day a couple of hours before going to work and several hours after work, as well as including time on holidays. It gradually destroyed our drive - satisfaction, and turned the process into a never-ending responsibility from which there is no escape. Many suggested that we look for an employee to take on the responsibility of growing mushrooms, but we decided that we grow mushrooms because it is something that is dear to our hearts and we would not have peace of mind if we handed it over to someone else.
Then we got the strength and continued to grow, but growing mushrooms together with a full-time job drained us, so after weighing what was more important, we decided to give mushroom growing a break.

Therefore, on 31.12.2022 "SvaigasSēnes" goes in search of other challenges.
